A Prayer For Those Who Are Hurting
A prayer for those who are hurting. The worst hurricanes in history, the worst floods in history, the worst forest fires, and the worst shootings. Threats of nuclear war. Pandemics and Christian persecution. Such suffering and such heartache all over the world. Heavenly Father, we ask for your protection. We ask that you would comfort those who are suffering so greatly now, those whose homes have burned up or have been destroyed in floods, and especially those who have lost children and spouses. Please Father, comfort them, draw them to yourself, wrap your gentle arms around them, wipe the tears from their cheeks, and show them your love, your grace, and your mercy in the midst of trials and great suffering. We pray in Jesus precious name. Amen.
