Father, we come to you today and ask that you comfort the victims’ families in Sutherland Springs, Texas where so many were killed and wounded while they worshipped you in a Church service. Please wrap your arms around our church family in Sutherland with the wonderful grace, mercy and gentle love of your Holy Spirit. Encourage them Father, comfort them, and let their Christian witness give others hope. In a time when Christians are being persecuted around the world, Father protect our brothers and sisters in Christ. Shield them from evil. Let their light shine for your sake. In Jesus name, Amen.
